You could see this around town...

I just completed a flyer or poster if you want to call it that for costumes and alterations.  You could see this around town or at the dance studio...but here's a sneak peak at it first.

Aside from my love for dance, I grew up
sewing and designing along side my mom and
grandma. After pursuing a career in fashion
I have finally merged my two loves. Dance
     and sewing.

I have been design and making costumes in
the area for the past three years and long
before that when living in Ohio.

We did the best we could helping you
order, but if you still need some
alterations done to your costume (or
  regular clothes) please contact me.

The easiest way to reach me would be email.
So grab a business card and let me know how
  I can help.

And while you have the card, feel free to
check out my website for more information on
alterations, design work, or visit my Etsy
store for a glimpse at my unique one of a
kind handbags.
Thanks!
Miss Cassie

Fall, Holidays and Now

I realize I've been MIA for months now and thought I'd show you what I've been up to.  It would be cool to say I've been traveling the world, but my world has been in my studio.  Not making handbags, bow-ties or accessories though. I've been helping design and then make costumes.
For the past few months I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing dancers and choreographers designing and making their costumes for this years company.  It's been such a great experience tying in two of my greatest passions, dance and sewing.  I've made all of some costumes and pieces and parts of others.  So here is what I've been up to....
Lyrical Senior Dance. I got to make every part of these costumes.

Jr Lyrical. I was able to make each dress and sash.
I loved how different these where in a sea of glitter and bling.

This solo costume I simple made a skirt/short that would complement the top.
Matador inspired costume. Check out those shoulder pads I made.

Small group lyrical. French Inspired.

Here's all the seniors.  In such a beautifully printed skirt.  They really draped well and look so good on stage.

And a few more pictures from the studio.

Getting a Compliment...

We all know how nice it is to get compliments... well I got the privilege of reviving one in writing.  And so, with out furture ado, I want to share something that was so touching to me tonight. A bit of encouragement that came at the perfect time....

    • I think that your handbags and clutches are adorable!I have always wanted one for like the past three yrs and today I finally got one at urban handmade:-)I am so excited to take it everywhere w me.You have a great eye for color and the bags are of a high quality too.I am a picky handbag consumer as well so that is a compliment.I don't think this will be the last bag I buy from you.My only only request is a zipper on the inside.I know the bags may lose their handmade touch w a zipper but it would be practical.Love love love your work though.
      Peace,
      Shelly R.♥
