ReplyDeleteI met you at Jeanne Porter’s Women in Business Networking Koffee Talks, and thought you might be a great fit for a project I am part of. I am volunteering with Hannah's Treasure Chest in Centerville, OH. We are planning our annual fundraiser, Diva's Day Out, to be held March 13, 2010 at the Presidential in Kettering.
Diva's Day Out is an elegant, fun luncheon and auction especially for the enjoyment of moms, grandmothers, aunts and the girls, 8 and older, in their lives. Typically, our attendance has been 250 women. This year we are well on our way to our goal of 325 attendees.
This fundraiser is the sole event from which Hannah's Treasure Chest derives annual operating expenses.
Hannah's Treasure Chest responds to the needs of children in the Miami Valley by providing them with clothing, furniture, toys, books, and other essential items.
To maximize the effectiveness of our outreach, we partner with respected social service agencies in the Miami Valley. When a partner agency identifies a child in need, we provide essential items to the agency, which in turn delivers them to the child.
